Frequently Asked Questions
What happens during the Introductory Call?
This is a time for us to get to know each other and talk about the changes you would like to make and your goals along with my approach to coaching. It is a perfect opportunity for you to understand if I am the right fit for you to support you through this journey of change.
Can you guarantee results?
When we speak on our Introductory Call, I will get to understand your needs and goals and together we will work to create a supportive programme that will allow you the best possible chance of success.
You need to be motivated, committed and ready to make changes to have the greatest chance of getting the results.
Change can take time and your progress will be depend on your own needs, what you are dealing with in your life, what you want to change and how many sessions you invest in.
With my holistic style of coaching and the personalised programme, we can break down the progress into manageable chunks so you can see progress week on week.
What if I need to cancel a coaching session?
Depending on the number of coaching sessions included in the programme you choose, we can discuss what dates and times fit in with your schedule. I totally understand that things can come up, especially when caring for aging parents. However, ideally I do ask for 24-hour notice to cancel any of our 1:1 sessions.
Where will the coaching sessions take place?
Each session will take place on-line. I will send you out a Zoom or Teams link for your diary. However, if you are local to Haslemere/Hindhead area, then you are more than welcome to visit me in person in my peaceful and private study.
Will there be any work for me to do outside of the coaching sessions?
Yes. In each session I will support you in making mini-action points to achieve in the coming week. These may include exercises that you can do (it could be a written exercise, a challenge, physical exercise - depending on your goals). This is a commitment to making life-long changes in your life and to support that I use behaviour-changing exercises that you can work on in between our sessions to support the changes you wish to make. These are exciting things to do and I am confident you will not find them onerous - only helpful and supportive. I know how busy your lives are and certainly don't want to put you under more pressure, so we will be entirely led by you, the goals you want to achieve and what is going on in your life.
What if I am nervous about taking the step to a coaching journey?
Deciding to make long-lasting changes to ones life can feel overwhelming and scary. Making a financial investment to get the support you need on this journey can also feel frightening. I have been on this journey myself and empathise with the feelings and emotions that come up. However, coaching is a perfect tool to help you make the changes you so desperately seek. Coaching is an exciting journey and the programme you follow will be led by you so you always feel in control. All of our conversations and correspondence are kept in strict confidence and there is never any judgement. I am here to simply hold your hand and support you on your journey to making the changes.
I am confident if you call me to discuss your fears and worries, you will leave the call feeling positive, settled and happier about making a decision around coaching.
Can I contact you in between our coaching sessions?
Yes. Each week I will check-in on how you are doing either via Whatsapp, Email or Text Message. I also include a weekly 10 minute catch up telephone calls during the 4 month "Back to You" programme. If in addition to this, you hit a crisis or need support then you can contact me to arrange a convenient time to speak.
Does your coaching support those who have different dietary requirements?
Yes. I am trained on coaching people with varying dietary requirements and have coached clients with differing needs along with food intolerances & allergies
